Our Mission

The mission of HSI-MIST is to bring together HSI-Katy’s MSA and Muslims at HSI-Sugarland through various activities by implementing the teachings of fellowship and companionship in Islam. Our goal is to provide a welcoming space for all of our Muslim brothers and sisters to gather and Value each other’s Islamic beliefs. We aim to create a diverse environment that empowers Muslim students to become advocates and leaders for their community. Our duty is to promote inclusion and leave a positive impact on our world. creating relatable content helps us to gather the attention of our Muslim youth and engage them in Islamic Values and beliefs.

Who We Are

Starting our first MIST team at Harmony School of Innovation, we vowed to bring students from all over the Houston area by merging our two sister campuses Katy and Sugarland. By doing so, we can say that our initiative to further diversify the perspectives of all HSI-MIST students have been successful, and it can all be traced back to the humble ideas of our social media team.
